IN FLAMES è il nome di una grande “modern metal” band svedese, attiva dagli anni ’90, che ha venduto più di 3 milioni di dischi fino ad oggi che è responsabile di aver ridefinito totalmente il genere, acquistando un enorme credito di media e pubblico. Ora finalmente approda nel repertorio Sony con il nuovo album Siren Charms.
Formatisi nel 1990, gli In Flames non solo hanno venduto molto e costantemente nel tempo, ma hanno accompagnato in tour nomi come Metallica, Slayer, Motorhead e Slipknot, conquistando nel tempo 2 German Metal Hammer Awards, numerosi Swedish Grammys, ed un ambitissimo Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award.
